白州蒸溜所(サントリー)は、南アルプスのふもとにある、森の蒸溜所です。

白州蒸溜所とは / About Hakushu Distillery
サントリーの第2の蒸溜所で、1973年に、南アルプス・甲斐駒ヶ岳のふもと、白州峡に開設されました。標高700mに位置する、広大な森の蒸溜所です。水は、花崗岩の層を通って磨かれた、やわらかくキレのよい地下天然水で、山崎とは異なる香味のモルトを生みます。近くには、名水百選の尾白川が流れます。
Suntory’s second distillery opened in 1973 at the foot of Mt. Kaikomagatake in the Southern Alps, about 700 m above sea level, in a vast forest. Its soft, crisp groundwater, filtered through granite, produces malts different from those of Yamazaki.

行き方 / How to get there
最寄りは、JR中央本線の「小淵沢駅」です。小淵沢駅から、無料のシャトルバスが運行しています。小淵沢駅から蒸溜所まで、往路も復路も、所要時間は約20分です。
The nearest station is JR Kobuchizawa Station on the JR Chuo Main Line. A free shuttle bus runs from the station; the trip takes about 20 minutes each way.

Guests using wheelchairs or requiring assistance should contact the distillery in advance. The distillery may be crowded depending on the season.
